Our Approach & Contributions
AmpThink is best known for the pioneering work done delivering high-density Wi-Fi networks in stadiums and arenas throughout North America. With over 100 venues in our portfolio, we have assembled a definitive understanding of the performance of the available OEM solutions and deployment techniques. We have persistently innovated, delivering some of the first high density networks in sports & entertainment including the original and category defining overhead, handrail, and under seat networks for venues.
Our position as Wi-Fi experts is formally recognized both by Cisco — AmpThink was the first North American Cisco Partner to be certified as a Cisco Connected Stadium Wi-Fi Partner in 2014 — and Aruba — AmpThink was recognized as 1 of 3 Aruba large public venue Wi-Fi partners in the first year of the LPV program. In fact, AmpThink is the only partner in the world to be recognized in both vendor programs. Our participation in the Dickie’s Arena project as the Master Technology Integrator marked our entry into the DAS construction business.
Architecting Considerations
Our participation in the Fort Worth Arena project as the Master Technology Integrator marked our entry into the DAS construction business. We’ve subsequently led the design and construction of DAS for Lower.com (Columbus Crew) and City Park (St. Louis City Soccer Club), and CPKC Stadium (Kansas City Current). Our role in these projects included leading the design process with the Carriers/MNOs, negotiating the license of the system, system commissioning and optimization and system operation.
